Plastic
Plastic glitter is precision cut from plain or coated metalized PVC. The approximate thickness of glitter is 6 to 7 mils (0.006" to 0.007"). Plastic glitter can be used in non-critical applications and cannot be mixed in water or solvent based mediums. It is a staple in the craft supply business. The thickness of this product makes it a natural choice for a kid's craft project, allowing for easier cleanup. Its other uses include parade float decoration and floral decoration. It is the preferred product in school systems across the country as an art supply because it is non-toxic and bright.
